A new writing competition has been launched; which is open to international writers.
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
Anyone, regardless of gender or country – providing the central character is female and submissions are in good English. More details can be found in the attached photo.
The competition which runs for two weeks, closes on 31st October 2016. Submissions are via the email address in the attached letter.
Don’t forget we are on GMT time, so please check the cut-off time carefully. The clocks change at 2am Sunday 30th October, in the United Kingdom and we gain one hour.
WHO IS RUNNING THE COMPETITION?
It has been created by a charity called Equation – a valuable organisation, working to prevent domestic abuse and reduce the harm is causes. It is based in Nottingham, England. It’s also promoted and supported by Waterstones – one of the largest, nationally recognized bookshops; in the UK.
The competition is in response to the annual United Nations campaign –#16Days.(16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence.)
